Nobody knows how, but I get bike credit on Fitbit Flex. Just did a circuit that is 1255 steps walking, and got 452 steps credit. Yes, only a third of step credit, but much more vigerous exersize (very hilly). Know what Mo Sup gets credit for on her bike,on the same course? 30 steps (walking to the bike and back).

Two things.
Since I walk about 1200 miles/year on the beach, a gf suggested getting one of these activity monitors for some reason. I ask her if this thing would credit me for strolling around Costco, would that encourage me to be more or less active?
Apple is about to disrupt the fitness tracker market, and the mere mention of an iWatch has already driven Nike out of that business. So of course you double down on dino tech at Woot. - 6/29/14, 4:11 PM

A friend says he has some success by clipping the Fitbit to his pants cuff while bicycling. - 6/29/14, 8:49 PM

I don't think Apple is going to beat the Fitbit. I have one, and wear it everywhere - it's cheap, easy, and keeps track of everything - including sleep.
Apple's product would be WAY more expensive, and not necessarily better. - 7/5/14, 3:07 PM
