Mint is good! And you can buy pre-installed mint-boxes on Amazon, courtesy of Compulab.

Mint's Shotwell photo organizer did such an impressive job of importing my wife's huge iPhoto library and identifying duplicates and corrupt thumbnails in the process, that I sent a donation to the Shotwell folks.

I was going to ask which version of mint, but this tells me nicely.

Given the huge proportion of shut-in nerds who read your site, I'm sure you can have any question you want answered about Linux answered in seconds.

I tried running a bootable disk of Mint 17 MATE 32 bit and the SOB couldn't find the wireless network card. I couldn't even find a way to add hardware. And the worst part? Almost all the Help requests send you to the Internet.
