I am reduced to blogging with iPad. I'm sure that after several years one might get used to the bizarrely structured key pad, but you don't have to. I would pay the original $69, or whatever if I had to. You're welcome.

Logitech has a solar powered version that I enjoy using. No batteries, Bluetooth wireless, perfect.

Go on craigslist and pick up some cheap desktop - like this one for $35 then throw an old disk in there, install kubuntu , install chrome and you are off to the races. The only real downside is you may come to really love using Unix so much you may not go back. I tried doing blog post on blogger from my tablet and it was a horrible experience. I can't imagine an iPad is much better. If your still having issue, drop me an email. Worst case i'll be glad to drive up there and assist... -

Ya know, back when I was in high school, shortly after the invention of clay tablets and pointed sticks, when I wanted to spread the news about the malfeasance of the school's staff, a buddy and I went to a local pawn shop and purchased a mimeograph machine!
While it may seem a little "old fashioned" now-a-days, I'll bet if you printed up a few thousand copies whenever you had something Righteous to say, you could depend on the Loyalist Troops of the Barn Army to get it distributed!
That is, until generations newer than mine discover the wondrous aroma of mimeograph fluid!
Still, I'll bet the cost of acquiring the machine, the paper, triple the usual amount of mimeo fluid, it probably is LESS than what you're throwing away on "so-called" high technology! -
