" ... sneering promotion of amnesty."

Reminder #43: Obama Really Doesn’t Believe that America has a Right to Exist

Obama garottes Redskin Fan

Obama went down to Chicago and continued his usual sneering promotion of amnesty. There was a time when Obama tried to play noble. He’s given that up for smug and condescending until he sounds exactly like his hipster advisers.
“I was just traveling in Asia — you go to Japan, they don’t have problems with certain folks being discriminated against because mostly everybody is Japanese,” Obama said.
Obama doesn’t seem to know that…
1. There’s plenty of discrimination in Japan, including internal caste discrimination, and against foreigners.

2. Japan has a simple immigration policy. “You aren’t moving here.”

But being non-white, Japan gets a laugh and pass from Obama and his bootlickers.

“But here, part of what’s wonderful about America is also what makes our democracy hard sometimes, because sometimes we get attached to our particular tribe, our particular race, our particular religion, and then we start treating other folks differently,” Obama said. [Full Front Page]

Looking for something that hasn't been said before about this         person.  There's  nothing.

The Japanese don't descriminate? Uh, talk to all the Koreans living in Japan. Or the Ainu. Or any non-American white men. Heck, even Americans (they really do respect Americans ever since we nuked them, but they still treat us differently).

Sheesh. I can see it, and I actually LIKE Japan and the Japanese....

I used to work for a Japanese based company, one of my tasks was to squire around the Tokyo execs, when they were here. Never met a more prejudiced bunch, in my life. They were great guys, in most ways, however.

One night, over several drinks, one guy blurted out "Mistah Tom, you OK. We make you honorary Nipponese, come to Tokyo, anytime". Another guy quickly chimed in "Visit only - no stay" :)

There was a book called the Asian Mind Game. In one section it talks about racial prejudice. On the whole they think Americans are silly to not be prejudiced. They will use American's fear of being seen as prejudiced against them in business negotiations. The Japanese, the Koreans, and the Chinese despise each other openly in their media. I remember reading some comments by an Korean-American who went to South Korea to teach English, hoo boy. He said the Korean's tend to the pecking order thing to each other and they themselves say they have a frogs at the bottom of a well syndrome. They tend to think the world at the bottom of the well is it and they only have a limited understanding from what they can see from the small circle of light above them.

There is a way of thinking, that goes "Japanese think they are better than Japanese who emigrated, to the US. Japanese immigrants to the US think they are better than Japanese who were born in the US. One thing they all agree is that they are all superior to other (non Japanese) Asians.
