Go B1G

So, I guess the ACC and the SEC will battle for the NCAAF championship, just like the smart money predicted.

Really?  Oh My.

I don't know about Casca but I turned the game off at 21-6 'Bama and went to bed. I didn't want to watch OSU's humiliation. Imagine my surprise when I turned ESPN on this morning and saw the blurb on the sidebar "Alabama Falls Flat."

The SEC and ACC beat each other up all year and let the schools that play Lasalle 10 times during the regular season comb their hair and tough it out at the end. Something to learn from this when you schedule.

I'm sure the TV people are pleased because, you know, THE Ohio State & the Ducks will draw an audience like a Florida/Bama game.

Tom, While 'Bama played the #2 toughest schedue, Fla State was 20th, Oregon 31st, and Ohio State Ohio State 42 nd. Fla State had extraordinary bad luck v. Oregon, but they also had extraordinary good luck against some ACC ordinaries (Boston College?) . Nevertheless, the book says that seasoned warriors will always beat the home militia, so your argument lacks standing, Wot? I think it comes down to luck in games like these.

Oh please with the SEC beat themselves up. That SEC West went 2-7 in bowls and NONE of their top teams won. That conference was way overrated this year. The PAC-12 is showing they are the top conference so far. Alabama is lucky they didn't get TCU or it would have been by 40 like Oregon's win was.

And to think, if the B(S)CS was still in play, the championship would have been Alabama against Florida State. Florida State due to being unbeaten and Alabama because they are in the SEC. Oregon and Ohio State, the true championship game would have been an ordinary Rose Bowl.

Well the trophy was already sent to Tuscaloosa so good luck trying to get it.

Excuse the fuck out of me, but since I was born and bred less than a mile from the Hall of Fame, and went to Ohio State when Woody was still coaching, I knows a thing or three.

It's not easy to pick the toughest conference, but it's easy to pick the weak sisters out. We're going to pants the ducks the way they pants'd the Criminoles. The truth is that these things are cyclical, and it's hard to hold down the #1 spot, but I'm pretty sure the Buckeyes will for at least two if not three years.

Finally Rog, Luck favors those who prepare.
