The inalienable right to a leisurely breakfast, and other nonsense.

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — An elementary school teacher who was allowed to keep his job despite being late for work 111 times in two years said Friday that breakfast is to blame for his tardiness. "I have a bad habit of eating breakfast in the morning, and I lost track of time," 15-year veteran teacher Arnold Anderson told The Associated Press. In a decision filed Aug. 19, an arbitrator in New Jersey rejected an attempt by the Roosevelt Elementary School in New Brunswick to fire Anderson from his $90,000-a-year job, saying he was entitled to progressive discipline.

I will not say a word.  None suffice.

"The MSM Rule of Inverse Electoral Correlation:
The closer the presidential race gets, the louder the MSM declares that it’s over. And all this comes even as Clinton has had a terrible week—arguably her worst week ever, as the billowing smoke of financial scandal clouds herself and her family."

I'm just surprised the progressives haven't yet awarded him with a gold watch to help alleviate his 'condition'.

Just remember, that's being late 111 times in 2 school years. He has the summers off. That's being late about 6 times per month. 9 months X 2 = 18 months. 18 months X 30 days = 540 days. 540 days / 111 days late = late every 4.86 days. 30 days / late every 4.86 days = 6.17 times late per month.

Anon 4:50, it's worse than that. Schools don't run on weekends and holidays. Public school here is 189 days for teachers, a little less for students.
111/189 = .59. That schlub is late 3 out of 5 work days, and is setting a fine example for the entitlement generation. /sarc

I foresee many of his students shocked by being fired for emulating their teacher. Some will file discrimination suits, and a rare few will understand the reason, change their habits, and not consult their therapist for assistance in dealing with reality.

Oops. I failed third grade reading and arithmetic.
111 tardies over 2 years, not just 1, means he was only late 1.5 out of 5 working days. That's not too bad. He should keep his job.
OTOH, how many days was he absent?.........
