Harvard Law to remove ‘sheaths of wheat’ symbol from shield due to ties to slave owning family

Isn't it "sheaves" of wheat? One uses a sheath to carry a dagger.

On the other hand, those "sheaths" do look like a couple I've encountered before. (Classics joke: the Latin word for sheath is "vagina".)

"Sheaths of Wheat" indeed! Now you know just what kind of education they get at Hah-vahd.

What, you never sang that old hymn,
Bringing in the sheaths, bringing in the sheaths,
We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaths?
