First Amendment rights WHAT?

When Progressives are in charge

A video of coach Jeff Monken’s prayer at the U.S. military academy was posted online and sparked outrage. An anti-religion group, called the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, said the video violated the First Amendment right of some of the cadets.

Once more:
"An anti-religion group, called the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, said the video violated the First Amendment right of some of the cadets." [AWK]
The amendment as adopted in 1791 reads as follows:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Do I have to say it? .... No?  Thank God.

Boy, that beautiful chapel at the Air Force academy is going to look really weird when they add that minaret to it. Well, they sure can't leave it a Christian cathedral. -Anymouse

Good grief. Do you realize how many sheets of paper —even crumpled up — it takes to kill somebody?
