Bitch-slapping Tamron Hall

MSNBC host Tamron Hall MSNBC lashed out at actor Scott Baio at the Republican Convention in Cleveland on Tuesday for what she clearly considers inappropriate social media messages in the political arena, demanding to know whether they represent the “moral compass” that Biao wants to present.

But the confrontation clearly turned in an unwelcome direction for her when Baio cited President Obama’s “gun” quote.

That was in June of 2008, when Obama said, on the campaign trail, “They’re going to try to scare people. They’re going to try to say that ‘that Obama is a scary guy.’ If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun, because from what I understand folks in Philly like a good brawl. I’ve seen Eagles fans.”

Hall immediately denied Obama said that.

“That’s absolutely not true,” she claimed.

Baio had said, “You want me to be sweet and gentle to a man, a president, who says if they bring a knife to an argument, you bring a gun. That’s what President Obama said.”

He was right ....

It's so easy to bitch slap MSNBC anymore that it's almost no fun.  Almost.

Nice

Yes, dear, they were and are communists.

Beating Dead Horses Because They Aren't Really Dead
should be, but they ain't

For the record, and just to be complete, here are links documenting some of Obama's many connections to William Ayers:

• Ayers and Obama worked together for years on a school reform program called the Chicago Annenberg Challenge.
• Ayers and Obama also served together on the board of the Woods Fund of Chicago, a separate charity organization.
• Obama had his political coming-out party in William Ayers' home.
Ayers mentions Obama by name in a book he wrote in 1997, and mentions that the two are very close neighbors.
• Obama gave a short glowing review of that same Ayers book for the Chicago Tribune.
• Obama and Ayers were both presenters together on a panel about juvenile justice (organized by Michelle Obama).
• Both Obama and Ayers were close friends with the same person, Rashid Kalidi.
• There are also several unverified rumors swirling around that have not been documented: That Ayers may have helped to write part (or all) of Obama's autobiography; that Obama and Ayers shared an office space together for three years, on the same floor of the same building in Chicago; and that Ayers and Obama may have known each other as far back as 1981.

Absolutely none of this will be new to most of y'all.  Just doing my bit to keep it alive in case some, suddenly eager for truth,  journalist at CBS decides to do penance.

Marilyn Mosby Bitch Slaped

SQUASHED

Marilyn Mosby, Baltimore state’s attorney, pauses while speaking during a media availability on May 1, 2015, in Baltimore. Mosby announced criminal charges against all six officers suspended after Freddie Gray suffered a fatal spinal injury while in police custody.

Legal analysts ripped Baltimore prosecutors Monday over their handling of the Freddie Gray case, saying the prosecution should drop all charges against the three remaining police officers or risk more embarrassment in the courtroom.
What’s more, John Banzhaf, an activist law professor at George Washington University, said he would file a complaint Tuesday with the Maryland Attorney Grievance Commission calling for the disbarment of the lead prosecutors in the trials of the six police officers accused of wrongdoing in the 2015 arrest and death of the 25-year-old black man.
The pointed criticism came Monday after Lt. Brian Rice was acquitted of all charges for his role in Gray’s arrest and death. The lieutenant was the highest-ranking of the accused officers, and his full acquittal was the third consecutive loss for prosecutors. Another trial ended in a hung jury in December, and a retrial has been scheduled. [FULL]

Still, that wont hurt her chance to be Baltimore's next mayor.

Pithy and all encompassing

SIMPLE PLEASURES

I don’t know what’s more stunning here - the fact that Hillary flat-out tells you she wants to gut the First Amendment, or the fact that the media reports it in the same misleading Clintonese with which she presents it

Dan Calabrese here was saying "Hillary makes it official: She’ll seek to gut First Amendment if elected." But what I saw was a pithy, smack-on, all encompassing description of our left media.

"... the fact that the media reports it in the same misleading Clintonese with which she presents it"

Unwanted Visit?

What I See

"Blimy! It's that Kerry chap ..."
A camera monitoring London's 10 Downing Street appears to have caught Sec/State John Kerry making a surprise visit.  When they see who it is, they try to shut the door.
