Krugman:"Reject the results of the election"

Last week, Krugman said that even if a Trump presidency could not be prevented, Americans should reject the results of the election, which he claimed would be "normalizing the subversion of 2016."

Liberal New York Times columnist Paul Krugman has come to terms with the Electoral College voting in Donald Trump as the 45th president of the United States, ushering in a "new normal" in which America is no longer the country "we knew and loved."

"So it's official, and it's vile: the loser of the popular vote installed by Russian intervention, a rogue FBI and epic media malfunction," Krugman tweeted Monday.

Krugman said that even if a Trump presidency could not be prevented, Americans should reject the results of the election, which he claimed would be "normalizing the subversion of 2016."

"Even if Trump can't be stopped, we need any constraints on his actions we can find — and threat of public outrage is really all there is," he said on Twitter. [FULL]

Scott Pruitt May Be Just the Guy ...

The EPA’s expansive and ever-expanding regulations impose huge costs on American businesses and, ultimately, on consumers. An analysis by the Competitive Enterprise Institute estimated that the annual cost of compliance with EPA regulations alone is more than a third of a trillion dollars.

Several commentators have characterized the selection of Oklahoma attorney general Scott Pruitt to become the next EPA Administrator as a sharp stick in the eye to the agency and its employees. They’re right — and seldom has any herd of federal bureaucrats been more deserving of it. For decades, in administrations Democratic and Republican alike, the EPA has been relentlessly ideological, politicized, corrupt, and incompetent.
Next- the IRS?

Stayin' Alive (Irony)

This is especially ironic given the lyrics of the song.

Whether you're a brother or whether you're a mother

You're stayin' alive, stayin' alive

Feel the city breakin' and everybody shakin'

And we're stayin' alive, stayin' alive

Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin' alive, stayin' alive

Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin' alive

The song is concerned about enjoying life and staying alive. The Muslim killer, on the other hand, was concerned with the exact opposite--death and killing.

That's what the clash of cultures is all about. Our culture celebrates life and enjoying living. Radical Islam celebrates slavery, suffering, and death. It's ironic the Muslim assassin struck a pose reminiscent of the complete antithesis of everything he stands for.

The 'Diversity' Fraud

The 'Diversity' Fraud by Dr. Thomas Sowell
In short, something very much like the quota limits that were applied to Jews in the past are now being applied to Asian Americans — and, once again, are being justified by diversity.

In the United States, the Supreme Court itself has long been part of such game-playing when it comes to affirmative action. Back in 1978, an opinion by Justice Lewis F. Powell banned racial quotas with one hand and created "diversity" as a criterion with the other. In other words, colleges were told in effect that they can have racial quotas, but they just can't call them racial quotas.

Nothing so epitomizes the politically correct gullibility of our times as the magic word "diversity." The wonders of diversity are proclaimed from the media, extolled in the academy and confirmed in the august chambers of the Supreme Court of the United States. But have you ever seen one speck of hard evidence to support the lofty claims?

Although diversity has become one of the leading buzzwords of our time, it has a history that goes back several generations. In the early twentieth century, the principle of geographic diversity was used to conceal bias against Jews in the admission of students to Harvard and other leading academic institutions. Nobel laureate Ivar Giaever's speech at the Nobel Laureates meeting 1st July 2015.

Ivar points out the mistakes which Obama makes in his speeches about global warming, and shares other not-well known facts about the state of the climate.

How the Global Warming Scare Began
A great scientist named Roger Revelle had Al Gore in his class at Harvard and the Global Warming campaign was born. Revelle tried to calm things down years later, but Gore said Revelle was Senile and refused to debate. John Coleman documents the entire story and shows how our tax dollars are perpetuating the Global Warming alarmist campaign even though temperatures have not risen in years and years.

Global Warming Debunked at Senate Hearing
There was a Little Ice Age a few hundred years ago that we were warming from. And there was a cooling period in the 1970's that we were warming from. This was also when climate scientists were declaring that an Ice Age was to occur within 10 years.

Al Gore's Inconvenient SCAM, Lies versus Lord Monckton Truth and Logic
Journalist and filmmaker Phelim McAleer (Mine Your Own Business, Not Evil Just Wrong) attempts to ask Al Gore a question about 'Climategate' emails at the UN Climate Change Conference. Al Gore's Press Secretary grabs his McAleer's microphone and UN security guard pulls the cable from the microphone.

I'm Just a Millennial Short and Stout

Capitalism, then, reveals how inequalities in talent, brains, virtue, and luck lead to economic winners and losers. But a dynamic capitalism gives people the freedom and opportunity to rise as far as their abilities can take them, rather than being stymied by static castes, guilds, and classes.
; The “snowflake” phenomenon on our college campuses is just one example of this widespread belief, the malign effects of which extend far beyond the millennial generation. Apart from the damage to our characters, autonomy, freedom, and sense of responsibility for our actions, the therapeutic vision runs counter to the foundations of our political and economic order.

We can see the cost to the former in the reduction of our freedoms caused by political correctness and the laws defending the sensibilities and feelings of “protected” classes. The anxiety not to cause offense leads to censorship both formal and internalized, which compromises our First Amendment right to free speech without which a democracy cannot function. And the demand to meet ever escalating standards of well-being and comfort by redistributing wealth has contributed to sluggish economic growth, the unsustainable expense of social welfare entitlements, and the $20 trillion in debt on track to bankrupt the country.
