We've been binging the "Murdoch Mysteries" on NETFLIX. It's about a late 19th century police detective in Toronto.

Give the Australian productions a good look. "Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries" and "Mr. and Mrs. Murder" come to mind. Pretty decent storylines and production values. There's lots more of these shows if one looks around for something different and entertaining....

Got tired of Miss Fisher after two or three seasons. Binge watching most likely the cause. Peaky, though, never got bored with that series.

Already know that 2 season of Peaky will be enough. In fact, the only 3 series I watched to the end were White Collar,
Justified.,and Spooks.

If you want to see some dirty politics and art, check out Medici on Netflix. Even though the show only touches the edges of the true politics in the Renaissance, its still worth it.

I watched, The River Thief, on Netflix yesterday and really liked it. The 2 1/2 star rating seemed low to me, but then there are lots of 4-5 star rated stuff that is junk to me. Anyway, it's a sweet story.
