Trump has surely learned from Obama that he doesn't need to go to Congress for anything, right?  If Dems play games, what's to stop him from naming, say, Jeff Sessions acting A.G.?  Or A.G. Pro Tem?  And just carry on.  Hell, he can use the E.O. to do whateve he pleases.

True. The GOP anymore are home to collection of unprincipled party hacks; an arm of the D. Party. Which is why I loved Trump's bid for the presidency from day one.

I'll enjoy watching the media crawling through their muck, while trying to continue their pathetic excuse for reporting. If they report the truth, Trump will appear as decisive and productive. If they don't, Trump will point out their lies, and expose those in the Capitol being obstructive.

Maybe their heads will explode while live reporting. If that becomes a common occurrence, I might go back to watching the alphabet networks.
