I have been able to post to both blogs - just a short time ago for the second time on C & S. But suddenly the C & S blog is temporarily freezing up when I open your "Testing" post. In the end it opens up and interestingly, it knows that I am the commenter.
The other thing that went weird was my tabs which are no longer all white. A second tab is green and the C & S tab is cream. I am going to reboot. - 4/29/17, 6:00 PM

Linda - My strange conditions were caused by having two blogger comment screens open at the same time. So Powr had nothing to do with it.
I cannot imagine why only me and a couple of other folks can successfully comment using the widget. I used the Google sign-in option on the widget because I am not a Facebook member. - 4/29/17, 6:38 PM

Troubleshooting - Click Here
Unfortunately, you've encountered a browser mishap on the road to building your POWr plugin. Before you get in touch with support, here are a few steps which solve most issues quickly and easily.
Refresh the website you are working on. This will solve issues with loading and is a good starting point for all tech issues.
Clear your cache and restart your browser (info can be found here)
Make sure cookies are enabled in your browser. If you're browsing Incognito, changes you make to a plugin may not save (info can be found here).
Switch to a different browser. We recommend switching to Firefox or Chrome as they tend to be more reliable.
If you have any ad-blockers, a firewall or antivirus software installed, try temporarily disabling those to see if that makes a difference.
Reset the browser to its default settings. Essential information like bookmarks will be saved. Click on your browser below for a walk through tutorial.
Chrome
Firefox
Internet Explorer
Restart your computer.
If the steps above didn't solve the issue, please get in touch with us and we'll work with you to get it fixed. - 4/29/17, 7:05 PM

Linda/Rodger - Sorry to send you guys on a wild goose chase. Powr worked so I passed it on. I will mention that the paid options allow for Anonymous entry but who wants every comment signed as Anon?
If there are ads showing up, I don't see them - most probably because of my adblocker! - 4/30/17, 2:35 PM

gladfly, it was a try, I don't mind trying stuff, even when it doesn't work out.
It's a nice looking platform, and easy to install. There were quite a few reasons we decided to ixnay it.
I guess the ads were always there. I see them now, because I shut off adblocker, in case that was the reason I couldn't post comments through powr, but that didn't help either.

Linda - So are you ready? I have another suggestion.
Another possibility for displayed comments and interactive discussions is to open Google + Comments to our blogger blog. When this is done the Google + comments appear below the post in Blogger with a "Join the Discussion" input. The Blogger comments can be kept as well for anyone who doesn't want to sign up to Google + with a nom de plume.
Blogger Help has the ""how" and here is a blog that uses the system. - 4/30/17, 6:37 PM

Here is a blogger site using Google + Comments.

One of the reasons we rejected Powr comments is that you cannot import older comments into the system, and we didn't want two sets of comments on each post. All comments for a post should be in one place.
If we disabled the regular comment feature on blogger so there was no option to use it and leaving only Powr comments, none of the comments on older posts would show, anywhere. That just plain sucks. - 5/1/17, 10:22 AM

Linda:
You just made an argument for considering Google + Comments. The comments displayed on blogger are stored on a Google + page designated to collect C & S Comments - so Google has the entire file indexed on Google + and further separated by blog post on Blogger.
Blogger will permit you to turn off Blogger Comments or not but they would naturally be linked to the individual posts as well.
The problem that sits nasty with some respondents is the "real name" required by Google + (and Google for that matter). Personally, and regardless of what does or doesn't happen here, I intend to change my Google "real name" to my first and middle initials plus my last name. I have nothing to lose because my gmail account already displays my nickname and last name. When and if I were to post using Google Plus, I would sign each post with my Blogger name. But, for sure, I won't put my ugly mug on the place provided on Google. - 5/1/17, 1:39 PM

There an "add Google+ Comments" gadget installed by google, it's already installed.
However, blogger will not allow the comment code on a main page. The blogger platform is set to "null" the code on the main page and only allow it to appear on individual post pages. - 5/1/17, 2:26 PM

Linda - Here is some reading material. Yeppers, the Google Plus Comment system has a few steps - mostly establishing a Google Plus account and moving the Blogger profile information over and setting up the place where the comments reside on Plus - but when the link is authorized in Blogger, you get comments under the posts, just like POWr did. One caution: To submit a comment using this system the reader has to be registered on Google Plus. The cantankerous among us can still have access through Blogger Comments.
