On the day of the inauguration, some one on TV said that Trump has about 1,000 judicial nominees to fill seats. This article says 100. I wonder if the commentor who said 1,000 had some other judicial appointments in mind that would be above and beyond the 100 mentioned here.

I heard the commentor say there were 1,000 SEATS that are open, not that there were 1,000 conservatives to fill them. And by the way, I live in Las Vegas.

FWIW, I'm not sure about various state laws, but there is no law degree requirement for federal judges. Trump could put Rush Limbaugh on the SCOTUS if he wanted. Or better yest, me.

OK, I just saw that Trump fired Comey.
Would it be a conflict of interest for Rodger the Real King of France to serve as FBI head? He should be OK since it the title has not been bestowed by France. I'd love to see Obama frogmarched onto a plane to Kenya.
