They forgot the secret Japanese trials where we hung a bunch of Japs guilty of ceremonial cannibalism of our captured airmen. Ole Bush 41 was dang near dinner. If you have never read "Flyboys" by James Bradley, author of "Flags of Our Fathers", you have missed out on a very big piece of WWII history. It is not a fun read. -Anymouse

When the ol' man was driving a tank for Geo., the troops captured a buncha krouts.
He was guarding a few with his carbine and a second looie walked up to a krout officer.
He shook him down, pocketed whatever and checked his teeth.
Pulled his .45 and put one in his eye, knocked out two gold teeth, put 'em in his pocket, looked my 'ol man in the eye and told him "Don't let anyone else escape".
Just one of many...the good old days. -
