Senate Intelligence ?

David Gerstman: "So it turns out that the Russians bought Facebook ads last year supporting BLM in Baltimore and Ferguson. How was that supposed to help Donald Trump? “Their aim was to sow chaos,” Sen. Mark R. Warner (D-Va.), vice chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee told The Washington Post.

Okay, I can buy that. Unfortunately, Warner didn't stop there, he added, “In many cases, it was more about voter suppression rather than increasing turnout."

Seriously?

Wouldn't buying BLM ads in Baltimore and Ferguson be designed to boost African-American turnout in the election?

Unfortunately, the straightforward idea that the Russians were using a tactic that would boost turnout in Hillary Clinton's favor was pretty much obscured in the rest of the reporting."
