As I've noted previously, the Dems clearly have the voting system in Virginia well controlled, mostly due to the complacency of the Republican party failing to apply thier rights to monitor the polls. It appears that the Dems have taken that exact same formula and applied it in Alabama.
The weakest of the weak links is in the 'absentee' and manually procesed votes. Consequently, it's the easist place to influence an election. The party and campaigns seem to never have the wherewithal to monitor the backrooms where those votes are cast and counted, or it occurs to the campaigns way too late that those places need thier attention.
If the stupid party is to have any chance of keeping the socialist at bay, they better start planning to effectively monitor the voting process early and often, because you can bet the Dems now understand how to cheat and will be applying that knowledge in the future, especially in those elections that hang on razor thin margins. - 12/15/17, 8:43 AM

Remember that a court ordered 20,000 voters removed for Virginia's voter roles because (I think) they were convicted felons> And that Clinton crime member and Va. Gov. Terry McAuliffe said fuck you, and refused? I'm just saying. Virginia's real problem however is the DC suburbs, a cesspool of govt dependent liberals.

SSDD. Until every state gets it's election rolls purified and accurate, and locks down some rules about last second registration and absentee votes, this kind of BS is going to hamper every voting.
It ain't rocket science. Come on already. The States should get together and hammer out a national registration standard and then adhere to it.
Here's a start: Death notices must be filed by hospitals, funeral homes, etc. Register early, at least 60 days before the election. Absentee ballots must be received/postmarked at least a week ahead of election day. Every person registering will have background check done, and must provide proof of citizenship and address and photo ID. And everyone has to re-register every 5 years in person. About a week or three before an election, the voter roll clerk in every county must publicly state for the record that the rolls are current, and that they will withstand scrutiny that proves that statement. And they are checked, every time. And if she lies or the checks fail, or she fails to make the statement, she's fired. PERIOD.
Election screw ups are mostly based on laziness and corruption. It's the first bucket of compost at the bottom of the swamp. Get it gone. - 12/15/17, 10:45 AM

How about, for the candidates, the Secretaries of State require public disclosure of birth records, college GPA (if applicable), and passport travel records.
And for both the candidates and voters, a recent (preferably current) valid photo ID. - 12/15/17, 4:49 PM

To vote in Alabama, you must present a photo ID and proof of residency. An Alabama driver's license usually suffices. Not sure how absentee ballots work, but I think they ought to be disallowed, except for military serving out of state.

Total clean-up, clean-out of ALL state voter rolls. Registration of dead people should be removed when Death Certificates are issued. Paper votes, marked by hand and counted PUBLICLY by hand. Counting will take longer, but will be less subject to "technical adjustments."
Every voter MUST provide approved photo I.D. and proof of citizenship to vote and I.D. must be physically altered (hole-punched, for instance,) to prevent re-use. It is not unconstitutional to require voters prove they are eligible to vote. Each voter must be physically marked (indelible dye, for instance,) to prevent multiple votes.
Voting is a privilege that comes from citizenship and should not be minimized. - 12/16/17, 7:13 AM
