New California policy opens door to illegal immigrant voting
California this spring will begin automatically registering adults who obtain or renew a driver’s license to vote, including potentially large numbers of noncitizens and immigrants illegally living in the state.

Well, let's not be too hasty here; breathe through your nose for a while and look for the golden lining.
If - more like "when" - Kali does this the entire state will be in violation of "standard election practices" which should invalidate every election result from California. I'd wager there are some people with already-written legal briefs and federal courts on speed dial waiting for the first "new vote" to be cast.
If California wants to have dogs, sheep, fresh-from-the-border Mohammeds and Juans voting for state officers, that's their business, but when election results go federal, the game changes.
Those 55 Communist, Marxist and Socialist electoral college votes? Gone. Yes, it'll take some high end legal wizardry to accomplish, but injunctions are more easily obtained than forced secession (although, either would be acceptable). -
