Victor D Hanson

When Democrats are in charge

Victor D Hanson; (NEW) A Thorough
Explanation of California's Failing Utopian Vision

"....we have the most billionaires I think there's 72 of all the states but one-third of the nation's welfare recipients live in California ; 22 percent of the state's  population live below the poverty line...

"... and then we ...have this challenge with education especially at K through 12 which were being adjudicated right at the level of Alabama Mississippi Georgia ... not that I'm making fun of those states but they were never in the same cohort as California based on test ...

If Victor D Hanson is not the the best orator/political analyst not named Rush Limbaugh, who is?

Its hopeless because the coastal people are rich, morally superior, and live in Disneyland. In twenty years it will be Brazil. Which is short hand for wonderfully diverse!

Victor Davis Hanson is one of the smartest and best thinkers and analysts in America if not the entire world. He's clear, concise, logical and a pragmatic realist. I think he's a national treasure. And he's a farmer to boot. Maybe that's why he's so damned smart, realistic and no BS.

Right winger here, I have to to with the progressives at 22:00. Hanson is wrong. You do not put affordable housing in an affluent area. You earn your money and spend it in an area you can afford. There is no low income housing in Beverly Hills, or Brentwood, etc. The housing is what the market will bear. Otherwise it is a government project which is what has ruined CA in the first place.

I'm from Detroit, and, before you laugh, I'd like to point out that in the late 50's Detroit had the highest per capita income in the US, which means, of course, in the world. It doesn't take forever for such glories to be dissipated by smug ignorance. California should take heed.

The Money for Infrastructures and pension plans is used for illegal immigrants. Some hard choices are coming down the pike. Every states that is run by Democrats and cities as well are in deep trouble. Socialist policies hurt everyone. End the theft now.

In NY those fish are Coney Island whitefish.

We called 'em East River Whitefish. We'd see 'em go by as we were watching the submarine races (and listening to Murray the K and his Swingin' Soiree).
