The "Big Lie" gambit got bigger
"Thanks to Hose B for pointing us to this transcript of Howard Dean on CNN yesterday. He eats Wolf Blitzer's lunch -- on presidential photo ops, bad advice from Joe Lieberman and, most of all, the suggestion that Dems have received money from Jack Abramoff." -  Uninformed person, (charitably said).
I no longer find this funny.  The people who operate sites like the Arkansas Times forum  may be, (although I doubt it) your typical uninformed,  lefty True Believer, but Howard Dean has no such excuse.  Howie's M.O. is to cynically ignore the truth, feeling, I guess, that he will not be called on it  by the Donk embedded media, and knows his lies appeal to the young, rabid, and witless souls who are willing to burn any bridge, betray any country, and break any law for him.  This is just the latest example, so chillingly touted by the donkperson  above.

BLITZER: Should Democrats who took money from Jack Abramoff, who has now pleaded guilty to bribery charges, among other charges, a Republican lobbyist in Washington, should the Democrat who took money from him give that money to charity or give it back?

DEAN: There are no Democrats who took money from Jack Abramoff, not one, not one single Democrat. Every person named in this scandal is a Republican. Every person under investigation is a Republican. Every person indicted is a Republican. This is a Republican finance scandal. There is no evidence that Jack Abramoff ever gave any Democrat any money. And we've looked through all of those FEC reports to make sure that's true.

BLITZER: But through various Abramoff-related organizations and outfits, a bunch of Democrats did take money that presumably originated with Jack Abramoff.

DEAN: That's not true either. There's no evidence for that either. There is no evidence...

BLITZER: What about Senator Byron Dorgan?

DEAN: Senator Byron Dorgan and some others took money from Indian tribes. They're not agents of Jack Abramoff. There's no evidence that I've seen that Jack Abramoff directed any contributions to Democrats. I know the Republican National Committee would like to get the Democrats involved in this. They're scared. They should be scared. They haven't told the truth. They have misled the American people. And now it appears they're stealing from Indian tribes. The Democrats are not involved in this

Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., (41,000); Rep. *Patrick Kennedy, D-R.I.,($42,500), and Sen. Maria Cantwell, D-Wash., ($10,000).  are three who have said they're keeping Abramoff cash.  Hillary says she'll return $2000 she got from the tribes represented by Abramoff, but not money from Abramoff's firm (?).   Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid took Abramoff Indian money, but  claims he really did not because, I suppose,  Abramoff did not  personally  hand him cash, and ask him to sign a contract while being recorded on FBI tape.  In other words, The Clinton Doctrine.

Here's the problem with what Dean, and the Democrats are doing.  Depending on your politics, or what television news program you might happen to see, you and I  could have  an opposite understanding of the truth.  Sooner or later this will spill over into the street.  That makes using  mass media to disseminate disinformation a Clear and Present Danger to the United States of America. Let's act accordingly.

*Patrick Kennedy really is a chip off the old block.  He was one of the congressmen specifically warned by the FBI that Chinese agents would target him with illegal contributions.  He  took them anyway,

Wow. Seems to me comrade Dean's been stealing pages from Saeed "Bagdad Bob" al Sahaf's playbook.

Just imagine al Sahaf is speaking: "There are no Democrats who took money from Jack Abramoff, not one, not one single Democrat. Every person named in this scandal is a Republican. Every person under investigation is a Republican. Every person indicted is a Republican. This is a Republican finance scandal. There is no evidence that Jack Abramoff ever gave any Democrat any money. And we've looked through all of those FEC reports to make sure that's true."

Spooky.

Think co-dependant. You've got the Dems on one hand and the MSM enabling them on the other.

It's a constant uphill battle to get the conservative side aired. The choices we have are much better than 20 years ago and by the time my generation is dead and gone, there should be a total disregard for the MSM, if there is even such a thing.
