In his book "Dogs of War" Len Deighton described educated blacks in Afica as "the Jews of Africa" because they fled from place to place on the continent to avoid persecution. Now I guess wage earners ie. taxpayers should be called "blue state Jews".

You can't blame all of N.J.'s taxation problems on the Democrats, and I must say that your original post lacks some basic rationality to it. The taxation problem is due to both Republican and Democratic administrations, and Corzine, facing a $6 billion budget deficit, is looking at all options. He is indeed attempting to slash the budget and has already cut many politically-appointed jobs. For me, I helped elect him because of his strong progressive values, yet the constraining budget is the first priority; you can expect some property tax rebates, btw, if at all humanly possible.
