For a long time I thought "Phishing" meant flying to a concert and listening to screeching noises. Well, it does, actually, but it also describes the attempted theft of your identity by way of E-mail scams. Some of these are damned good, like the ersatz Pay Pay delight what damned near suckered me in. The most recent expose is an E-Bay phish. Here be the home page. |

I read an article in the WSJ as while back that said most of the phishing comes from Russia. And they will sell you the results from a successful phishing for $2500.

Read no hyperbole in this. After 70 years of communism, every single Russian alive, including our immigrants, are morally bankrupt, and on the make. Even the children of American crack whores are exposed to some behavioral expectations, not so the Russian commie kids.
