'splain this Lucy
This is something else I simply cannot understand.  Why would anybody object to, or try to prevent, immigrant children from learning English in school?  Is this another phenomenon attributable to the ''Resenters''  hypothesis?  You have to deeply hate American culture to join in this effort.

Why?
1.The left believes that American culture is the worst one in the world. So a kid is better off isolated in his own culture.

2. It is a teacher union feather bedding scheme. It take a lot more teachers for bilingual education.

3. It is guaranteed to keep the child in poverty the rest of his life. Thus insuring that he will vote for Democrats.

So why does the left object to immigrants learning English? Hate, greed and a lust for power are the reasons.
