 Senate Democrats renege on promise
Senate Democrats have scrapped a "good-faith" agreement they made two
months ago to allow the Judiciary Committee to vote today on the
Supreme Court nomination of Judge Samuel A. Alito Jr.
"This is a new low in our confirmation process," said Sen.
John Cornyn, Texas Republican. "Not only because it is virtually
unprecedented, but also because it reflects a breach of trust." A
new low? Lower than dog poop melting into the sidewalk? I don't
think so. Trusting cringing Democrats carries with it the same risks as
trusting any North Korean named Kim.

history as one of the worst that has ever governed our country."Still left in her arsenal:
Accusing the Bush Administration of using the IRS against
political enemies; charging that Laura Bush burned sacks of
incriminating evidence that would have put her in prison; Indignation
over Bush selling American war technology to China in exchange
for campaign cash; blah-blah-blah You go girl.
