Clyde Haberman writes of bloggers:
"Journalists. There's a word that has been stretched almost
beyond elasticity."
It has indeed Clyde. For instance, real journalists would
have fleshed out the rather incendiary charge, appearing on the front
page of today's al Jazeera West (the NSA is eavesdropping without warrants on the telephone calls and e-mail
messages between people inside the United States and people overseas.) with the ending. -- if there have been credible reports that one of the parties is al-Qaeda.
The New York Times ought to be officially labeled an enemy combatant.
