I am sooo ready for a new puppy. I used to raise German Shepherd dogs. I'm down to 4 and the youngest is 7. This one looks like a Shepherd to me.

I am still in mourning for my last dog (a Schipperke we raised from a puppy; we had to put her to sleep at age eighteen three months ago because her liver failed), so I'm not in the market for a new one... but that is a CUTE puppy.

That's one sweet puppy face!!
Although I've always loved shepards, one chased our daughter down (at 10yrs old) and tried to eat her for lunch. She still has the scars. Cute puppy or not, not for us. joyce - 2/1/06, 2:19 PM

Cute as heck.
I'm in the process of moving, so I've put my 15yo lab / sheppard at my brothers, who has two and are keeping her younger.
On Dec 30th 2005, she slipped on the wet grass and threw her left hip out. I did a lot of massaging and praying. With a little help from Anti-Inflammatories, she's doing well. She still hobbles if she lays wrong.
But it really ruins your day to be sitting there hugging your best friend for 15 years worrying you have to put her to sleep simply 'cause she can't walk.
Right now it has a good ending.
And even given that, the 15 years of good times far, far outweighs a few months of mourning I'll have. - 2/1/06, 6:34 PM
