Tone Deaf

Applauding Failure

''Congress did not act last year on my proposal to save Social Security ...''  -- (applause)

Democrats will hope I'm wrong, but this was the signal moment during the SOTU address last night.  Bush had earlier asked for ''a civil tone,''  to return during the national debate. '' To confront the great issues before us, we must act in a spirit of goodwill and respect for one another -- and I will do my part.''  This sarcastic democrat response, over Congress' failure to address Social Security entitlements (that will one day doom the Union), can only reinforce their image as the Party of sneering disrespect, and hate.  IMO.

Yeah they sure changed a lot of minds by their show of respect last night, they're like a herd of Wildebeest at feeding time, braying disrespect in the face of danger. History has shown that entitlements can't be funded, politicians are part of the entitlement structure, under the government payroll, government pension, and government medical system. for them it's great but when it gets down to each person paying for their own and the guy next to them's entitlements maybe then they'll see the light. Don't bet on it.

Totally...

They also appeared to oppose 'an end to tyranny'...

Or the 'listening to terrorists'...

Democrats looked insane.

But I must ask this question, why are so many Democrats, Women who have short hair cuts, rather large in size, and appear totally unhappy?

I winced when they all applauded to that statement.

Then I howled in laughter at his response.

I would have taunted them.
But I'm not POTUS...

The wheels have completely come off the democrat party. I wonder if the rank and file pay a sufficient amount of attention to realize that the party leadership is composed of swine.

Sadly, I suspect the rank and file do not know that, and that's the way the swine like it.
