Blackbirds

Today's swarm
Today it's blackbirds ... when they all take off the sky is just black with them. We are not fond of blackbirds.

When I was in High school (and lived in the country) these damn things would come through and make the most god awful racket. I'd load both barrels of my great grandfathers 12 guage, walk into the back yard and unload both barrels into the nearest tree.

They'd all leave. All but about 7, anyway.

Grackles is goooood eatin'...

You have Turkey Vultures nearby? What part of the world do Turkey Vultures congregate in? I mean, the DNC isn't due to schedule their convention for a long time. Let us know so we can watch.
