Maryland Democrats eat shit

How do you increase gas and electric rates an outrageous 20%, and have your customers slobbering kisses all over you in abject praise and celebration? Begin at 72%

Last month, when BG&E - Baltimore's dominant power company - announced a forthcoming 72% rate increase, I told Mother Superior ( who was already searching Florida's trailer parks for vacancies) not to worry, it was their way of getting 20%.  El-correcto mundo [BGE eyes lower increase in rates ] The real story is that Maryland Democrats legislated deregulation, then subsidized BG&E so other energy companies would find it unprofitable to compete, thus creating Maryland's own version of California's screwed up energy crisis. I'll be honest.  I wanted the 72% hike for the same reason I wanted someone like Tom Harkin to be elected President - to trigger a revolt, resulting in mass lynchings of  Democrat politicians.  Now we'll have to wait, I guess.
