Today's Reasoned Observation
Rodolfo F. Acñu a is professor of ''Chicana/o'' (even here we must endure the liberal notion of gender diversity)  Studies at California State University, Northridge.

Chicano Studies, Black Studies, Womyn studies - these are today's Basket Weaving - courses of study that used to be grade average balm for star half-backs.  At least college football players provided entertainment; graduates of these ethnic studies programs are as useless as teachers with a PhD in Education - leeches living off a host's body, and imparting disease along the way..

Anyway, Rodolfo explains why he continues to urge his illegally-here students to protest attempts to, madre mia, enforce our immigration law.

''The demonstrators had no choice but to protest. I have no other choice but to urge my students and community to resist immoral laws.

As a historian, I remember the words of Martin Niemoller, a Protestant pastor and social activist:

When the Nazis arrested the Communists,`

I said nothing; after all, I was not a Communist. ... blah-blah-blah.''

The nexus of Rudolfo's ridiculous argument is that we gringos stole half of Mexico, and raised the border.  That's right Rudy, we won, you lost, now STFU and be happy you're allowed to enjoy the benefits of a democratic society  - one that your South-of-the-new-border compatriots have not been able to duplicate.  Despite 5000 peasant rebellions, Mexico is still in thrall of crooked politicians, crooked cops, (yes, I do see the unfortunate irony), and the stain of La Mordida  .. the big bribe.  And this - even the Italians, 2000 years ago, knew that shitting in their drinking water was bad. In fact, forget it Rudy.  Get the hell  out, and take those 9,0000000 illegals with you.   I mean it.  And that goes double for anybody from El Salvador, the Spanish language equivalent of Chechnya..

One more thing.  The disk jockey guys for the Spanish language radio stations that fomented this weekend's rebellion?  ''Fomenting Rebellion,'' are the magic words *hint-hint*, *click-click*

You should know that Rodger loves the Mexican work ethic, tacos, Latin music, Mexican humor, Mexican women, and Knorr's Chipotle sauce.  He is also the possible future author of theRandom House book, " How Liberals Have Destroyed the United States, and Why They Should Be Shot. I Mean That In The Good Way." -
