Ben Affleck and Bill Maher. beauty,

Actor Boy - Stage Left!
I happened to catch a bit of Tom DeLay's appearance on Limbaugh this week.  Too bad Ben Afleck didn't - it would (maybe) have saved him from pouring another layer of stupid over his already motley reputation (''Barbra Streisand without the tits'').   The Left's contract on DeLay was let after he engineered a Texas redistricting plan that undid the old Democrat gerrymander, and gave Republicans representation that reflects current voting patterns.  In the process, DeLay allowed his own district to be watered down from a very safe 80% Republican base,  to about 55%.  Here's Affleck, appearing on the insufferable Bill Maher's cable show.

"Tom DeLay personally gerrymandered that district so severely that it looks like a map of Italy....There won't be a Democrat elected in that seat for a thousand years. You can't say he's the poster boy for the left. He happens to be an incredibly powerful Republican who is a criminal and now you blame Democrats for pointing it out!"
But wait ... there's more.  J.Lo's erstwhile pool boy went on to say that President Bush could be executed.  Claiming that Bush ''probably also leaked” Valerie Plame's name meant Bush could -
'' ... be hung for that! That's treason! ... You could be killed. That's not a joking around Tom DeLay 'I'll do a year, I bribed the state officials with corporate money.' That's like they shoot you in the battlefield for doing that.”

Video clip of Affleck talking about hanging and shooting Bush for treason (35 seconds). Real (1.1 MB) or Windows Media (1.25 MB), plus MP3 audio (200 KB).
Earlier in the week Maher - who was kicked off broadcast television for being a hateful asshole, had his own rant against Christians who don't cotten to Liberal politicians ...
Christianity has “taken over all three branches of government, country music, public schools, [and] the best sellers list.” He then suggested that Christians are “part of a dress-up cult that hates sex and worships magic.” [Video Link courtesy of Crooks and Liars.]
The open assault against Christianity began with Ronald Reagan's election in 1980.  The Left blamed Carter's defeat on the ''Silent Majority'' coalition, that pulled many long time Democrat voters into Reagan's camp.  It's been hatred ever since; now open warfare.  Listening to them, though, is just great, great comedy.  God will I miss them  (LOL, I found the ''button.''.  It was in the sock drawer).

Rodger,
Do you think they take stupid pills or something? I can't think of any other excuse for their continued, unfailing idiocy.
(sigh) I'd say use the button- all their whining just makes me tired. There's no hope for them so just put them out of their misery.

I did press it 30 minutes ago. I think Drudge is in on the cover-up. He won't report that Beverly Hills no longer exists - but it doesn't. USA USA

They are idots they think they can say their crap and it is ok but it isn't! I can't stand how they are, and so few really appreciate why they live in the land of the free and how it got to be that way.

then we get this garbage...

HERSH: BUSH 'PLANNING NUCLEAR STRIKES ON IRAN'S SECRET SITES'

Seymour Hersh admitting to making up his 'own versions of the truth', after producing a number of lies about the Bush Administration, including the one where stated Rumsfeld authorized abuse of captured terrorists...

he is so full of shit, but ironically, it would not bother me if the Bush Administration was thinking of nuking the nuts of Iran...

just wish Hersh would get something right for a change...
