Evangelicals and kevin Phillips

On closer examination, some surprises
Kevin Phillips reminds me of Georgie Jessel when I was a kid. His name is thrown around a lot, but nobody can tell me what he ever did that I should care about. While taking Phillips to task [Burning the Republican Church] for his current crank, Patrick Hynes  surprises me with some facts about the Left's favorite bogeymen.
" Twenty-eight percent of the nation's population lives in the Deep South, 31% of evangelicals live there. Whereas 16% of the nation's population inhabits the East North Central, 19% of evangelicals live there. And whereas 16% of the nation's population lives in Pacific states, 14% of evangelicals call the West Coast home.

Conservative Christianity is an American religion, not a Southern one.
Anyone who knows me will attest that I am not an evangelical .. and I don't say that with braggadocio, just as a statement of fact.  Still, if they were suddenly granted 100% of their wishes for America, we'd find ourselves in 1950 America.  Oh, the humanity.  Now consider what the Left wants.  See?

I don't know about that. Ever since I have been reading your blog, I have an overwhelming desire to become a Catholic. Maybe it is those cute girls in school uniforms.
