Katie is Dead! Long Live Katie!
After a vigorous interview session to ascertain that she had nothing in her past that might embarrass NBC, Meridith Vieira was today named to replace Katie Couric as hostette on the Today Show.  Thanks to Media Research Center, we make available two clips Ms. Vierra offered as proof of her devotion to the standards that are a hallmark of NBC News. Katie is Dead! Long Live Katie!

Video clip #1: Vieira talking about participating in the 2004 anti-Iraq war march (1:25). Real (2.5 MB) or Windows Media (2.9 MB), plus MP3 audio (425 KB).

Video clip #2: Vieira declaring war “built on lies” (28 secs). Real (900 KB) or Windows Media (1 MB), plus MP3 audio (168 KB).

I'm beginning to think Drudge is reading the mighty C&S, to get the latest...

He just posted the story...
New 'TODAY' Co-Host an Anti-War Protester: 'War Built on Lies'...

If any one gives a flying rat's ass what these snarky c**** have got to say, than all I can offer is GET A LIFE.

I never saw one second of Katie on TODAY, I don't know(or give a shit) who her replacement is and I could care less. The 2 videos you linked only confirms my disgust with the MSM. And Barbara Walters can suck... never mind. When I saw that forum, my first thought was, "target rich environment"

Damn, couldn't find the SNL skit where the View chicks are talking about how cute Stephenopoulous is and Viera says "I would have sex with him, and I would let him touch my breasts". Here's a random The View sketch from Mad TV instead.
