Last week at the Food Lion I had this brilliant-freaking-idea. Like you, Mother Superior and I like to watch our waist line, which means being aware of our trans fatty acids (WTF is that - a gender confused fat solid?), and life threatening flour carbs - but at the same time we likes our fried stuff. So here's what I did last night. MS wanted fried chicken. I skinned and seasoned some thighs - and here's the BFI - sprayed them with this PAM flour stuff. I did ours on the Cuisinart George Foreman Panini Griddler. That's right ... the flour gave it a nice crust without any carbs, fat, or calories (says so on the can). You're welcome. |

Spray on flour magic

In line w/things what work, like this here Pam spray... We attended an RV show Friday, and found an item we hadn't seen before=Porta Bote. While searching it on the net I linked to this. And I just have to say, "Leave it to man, to come up with a plan." Delightful link from an ally across the pond.
Hope you like, Juice

Errrr Rodge, I hate to burst yer bubble, but the transfat problem doesn't occur within the breading -- it happens with a chemical reaction during the FRYING.

Also, note that Pam contains all sorts of lubricants which may not be that good for you if you ingest them in large quantities over a lengthy period.
