This will hurt me more than it will them. Sigh.
- Your Liar Here -
What bothers many of us the most is the apparent ease with which many Americans can ignore, what ought to be, fatal flaws in their chosen politician, or ideology.  A quick example is John Kerry.  You would think that, once Kerry admitted that he had falsely awarded himself a Purple Heart, his public career would have ended, and he would withdraw from the 2004 presidential race. Nope.  Same with Global Warming.  You would think that after countless claims, studies, and predictions were proved to be false, manufactured, wrong-headed, and plain lies, that the G.W. lobby would be discredited.  Nope

We're at the point in this nation, and the world for that matter, where ideology trumps truth.  That's why we have to kill  them.  Yes, I'm damn sorry.   Where's the button?  Dammit, I lost the button.  Shit.

Well said...
It amazes doesn't it?

I caught Bill Clinton on the Tube early this morning, saying blab, blah, blab, blah...

He is seeking money, that's right, more money...
The entire experience, is like watching an old interview with Ted Bundy.

Why is this guy on tv at all, and why does the reporter act like he has something interesting to say?

"where ideology trumps truth".

I have more confidence than you on the truth ruling. That's what you bloggers are for. Remember the truth about Kerry dubious war record did come out (just not on the MSM) and Kerry lost the election.

Kinda disturbing to me is that we may be having the same conversations the German population was having just before WWII.

I'm sure some segment of the population was going; "Can you believe people are accepting all these lies the government is putting out? They just keep repeating the same lies over and over - expecting us to believe them. And some people do!"

...
Do some extrapolating and find that damned button!

(well, I haven't complained about the word in a while, but here's a good one:

A follow-up to my whining about the word:
Do you think if the Word Verification was to produce the Arabic replica of "Allah" that people would flock to your site to see it?

:snicker:
