Verhoeven, Baldwin, DeLay

Three for the chipper
"Anything that is erotic has been banned in the United States," said the Dutch native. "Look at the people at the top (of the government). We are living under a government that is constantly hammering out Christian values. And Christianity and sex have never been good friends." - Hollywood Film Director Paul Verhoeven, explaining why he can't make a movie anyone will pay to see.
"Anything ..erotic has been banned in the United States ..?"   Verhoeven knows that's not true, which is to say he's lying, and playing to the chorus of Hollywood Liberals who blame Christians, and anyone else with a rigid moral code, for every disappointment - much in the manner that German guy used the Jews. Verhoeven's Dutch, and the Dutch have a real love for baby sex, so maybe that's what he's worried about? But pedophilia was illegal even under Clinton.  Woodrow Wilson too. Here's something erotic, Paul. Blow me.
''[L}et's all sit back and watch that lying, thieving Katherine Harris' political future slowly wither and die as more and more staff and operatives abandon her campaign. Can you think of anyone who deserves this more than her? (Maybe Jeb Bush.)'' - Alec Baldwin in a Squat and Huff screed.
The last time Baldwin was challenged to back up what he said with actual facts, he got up and left in a huff.   Not good enough.  I want Baldwin to follow through with facts that buttress the Katherine Harris slur.  If he can't, he owes it to America to take his own life.
"I refuse to allow liberal Democrats an opportunity to steal this seat with a negative personal campaign," DeLay said. "The voters of the 22nd district of Texas deserve a campaign about the vital national issues that they care most about and that affect their lives every day and not a campaign focused solely as a referendum on me." Tom Delay announcing his resignation from Congress.
Sorry Tom, but that's bullshit.  The charges against you may have been politically motivated, and arbitrarily applied, but as a Republican you had to know that only the virgin pure survive Liberal jihads. It's been fun. You could go totally nuts, and bring an Uzi into th - never mind. Into the chipper with you.

Hey, Verhoeven...we haven't banned erotic, we've just realized that sitting through your films isn't worth the payoff of a 2-second glimpse of some washed up actresses boobs. Erotic thrillers are not just about a peek at someones naughty bits, they are supposed to have a story the entertains and engages the viewer. The dreck that has typified the "erotic thriller" in the last decade has been neither erotic or thrilling. I notice that you are hoping for a blockbuster script from the same hacks that have written your previous dreck. Good luck with that.

Oh, and I'm a Christian. So screw you.

Seems like this clown is hoisted upon his own petard:

"Anything that is erotic has been banned in the United States."

That movie isn't banned in the USA. Thus, it isn't erotic, which is apparently its whole purpose for existence.

Actually, I think it's the Belgians and not the Dutch who are into baby sex (think that Dutroux guy).
