Food Fight
Were I to commit to paper all the reasons why we should worry about our dependency on California for our food supply, the list might look like this.
  1. The state is run by ratbastardcommies
  2. California fruits and veggies may not address your local mineral requirements. Home grown in local soil will.
  3. California may one day erect its own Berlin Wall
  4. California may one day cede itself to Mexico, and we'll have to destroy it.
  5. Ronald Reagan had 12 Hydrogen bombs strategically buried along the San Andreas fault line, and gave me the remote.  I'm easily pissed off. (What?  You didn't know that?)
  6. Barbara Boxer
Anyone of those would suffice for reasonable people to be fearful, but here's another one that I didn't even know about.  Proposition 65, and the "National Uniformity in Food Act." of 2006.

I was about to make a suggestion regarding (the second to last paragraph) Ohio's response. For instance, they should just start a campaign of humor against CA imposed restrictions. BUT. Then that lawsuit word was injected and all fell into place. Holy crap, I'm fed up w/octopussy arms of the libs. They won't be happy until they control every last breath - literally - we take. Juice

In our business, we also work with a state bureaucracy. My thinking is that they pass more and more rules in order to keep their jobs secure because that means more paperwork for them and more bureaucrats hired to enforce the rules and shuffle the paperwork back and forth so that more state agencies are needed and.........

Rog,
Ronnie was pulling your leg. What a kidder. The remote he gave you opens Richard Nixon's garage door!

Go ahead and push the button. But wait one, please. I want to go outside and watch.
