Jean Rohe -

New School Heroes
Former U.S. Senator, and current New School president Bob Kerrey has issued a ''Memorandum to the University,'' about what most people in the civilized world view as shabby and disrespectful behavior displayed by New Schoolers towards invited commencement speaker, Sen. John McCain.  Here's one of the parts I like.
More importantly -- and also lost in the charges and counter-charges -- is this fact: student protests are a necessary and essential part of democratic free expression. Did we not love the brave and disrespectful students at Tiananmen? Did we not applaud the determination of the student led movements that helped bring down the dictators that ruled Eastern Europe in 1991? Have we forgotten the critical difference students made in reversing an unlawful election in Ukraine or in driving the Syrians from Lebanon or who still seethe in discontent under the religious law of Iran’s mullahs?
Well, isn't that precious? .  Like Jack Armstrong escaping from the inescapable pit of death .. Poof! In a flash he was out! If Kerrey believes this drivel, he must equate the United States of America with Chinese communist murderers, or Eastern Europe's brutal Hoxhas, Ceaucescus, and other Bolsheviks who murdered millions?  And, isn't it ironic that Kerrey, whose presidential ambitions were dashed by overplayed revelations of a certain ''Vietnam massacre,'' would deign to associate with this ilk? Or they, him?

Here's what got me going though.  The actual story behind the Left's newest girl action figure, Jean Rohe. She braved public scorn and certain death in order to face down Sen. McCain, well known baby killer, and raper of old women.  Ann Coulter does not cloak things in niceties, as do I, but she will be absolutely accurate. Here then, without further ado ...

Ya know what I hate Rodger? I hate it when you say all there is to be said. Posts like this...I can't comment...I can't add anything intelligent (big surprise right?). I just find it hilarious that they'll do something so ridiculous, and then when people complain about it, they point their finger at the First Amendment, before burning the constitution. Like protesting a Senator who's a SPEAKER isn't the same damn thing...

This is why I'm not going to college. I'm going to learn how to repair air conditioners...Better than having to sift through a bunch of smelly liberal schmucks on my way to class. After reading this, I lose all hope.

Besides, I'm not intelligent enough for a Conservative university...And I'm not ignorant enough to go to a liberal college.

\/-- is screwed.
