Jesse Macbeth

“It takes courage to speak up, even if you are lying!”
My Beauty Of The Day comes via Cold Fury.  You may be familiar with People's Hero Jesse Macbeth, who wowed and validated the left with his claim that, while serving as a Ranger in Iraq, he committed untold atrocities (as an aside, this puke is from guess where?  That's right, Washington State).  One of Mike's readers wrote:

''Anybody besides me beginning to wonder why the only “war heroes” the Left ever seems able to scare up are either traitors, war criminals, partisan yo-yos whose blind, unreasoning pacifism have led them to despise and irrationally attack the very military they once were honorably part of, or just plain phonies?''
But, that's not the beauty part.  Now that he's been unmasked, the habitués of sewer hole.com are naturally saying ''Whoops, in our eagerness to make America look bad, we've allowed ourselves to be duped yet again.''  Like hell they are.
Bush recruited Macbeth to set the left up with a lie so ''the movement''  would be discredited. Oh, one more thing. The Winter Soldier reference?  The term refers to a group John Kerry led in the 70's, whose motto  was ''It will be a cold day when we actually risk our lives for this country.''

Yep. First read about it here--

You know - it's just as blatant as another "story" in todays news: Senate votes to hike fines for employers.

WOW! That's impressive! Almost as much as if it read: Senate Votes to Enforce Current Laws on Immigration Policy. Juice

Seriously, just look at this skinny little punk!

Who, other than hippies, hairy-legged women protesters and neutered guys trying to impress said hairy-legged women would believe for a second that this guy could possibly be a RANGER!?

The guy is obviously a whiny wimp who couldn't make it through Navy bootcamp, much less Ranger training.

I knew from the second that I saw this clown that he was a fake. No intuition here, just military experience. I’m no Ranger by any means, just a ‘wing nut’ Air Force type Viet Nam era Vet. Digging through the links in your post convinced me that the entire lot, the IVAW site included as well, is populated by leftist phonies who never wore a uniform. The fact that they believe MacBeth was a plant is symptomatic of the disease known as extreme liberalism… project onto others that of which you, yourself, are guilty.
If there are in fact military members in these groups I would ask … what the F_ _K did you volunteer for? Did you think it was a free ride? In my day my Air Force buddies would have called these types ‘dipshits’.

I wonder, are Army SpecWar guys as touchy about "pretend" Rangers/Berets as SEALS are about fake SEALS?

Pity McBeth if he ever runs into the genuine article.

Sounds to me like he wants to be the next junior senator from Massachusetts.

Once I was at a McDonald's outside of Fort Benning, Georgia. One of the guys in line, a GI in fatigues, was suddenly attacked by two or 3 other GI's. They beat the shit out of this guy - I have never since personally witnessed such brutality, and not a soul intervened. The guy's crime? He had bloused his pants, then an Army Airborne perquisite, without having the Airborn device on his fatigue blouse. Can you imagine what Macbeth's fate would be?
