Mom & Dad
Some folks took exception to my post yesterday about the proposed California law which would proscribe use of words ''mom & dad'' in textbooks. Here's SB 147, and of course it does not explicitly say that, but it does so implicitly, which is what counts. I mean, we're talking about a state where a cross memorializing war dead must now be removed because it offended an atheist. Extrapolate.

Funny as we watched 'Dobie', we all thought Maynard G Krebs was the strange one. http://www.wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=50044

The SB 1437 link you've provided here is exactly where I went yesterday to check up on your post. It certainly seems to say just what you indicated. Passing through THIS state legislature....Ass-troGlide simple.
Also, is this the memorial you refer to?
