My emergency "Git Along" pack

Bring 'er on!
Every year when I see Gunboy's ''Grab-And-Go '' kit I think, ''Hey, I should do that'', then I don't.  This time .. just now .. I decided to act!  I'm not as persnickety as Kim and his Mrs., plus we're nudists so that makes the thing a lot easier.  Here it is then, my emergency "Git Along" pack.  It consists of .

  • Red Whiskey (case)
  • Sweet Vermouth (case)
  • Prozac (300)
  • Chipotle Sauce (12)
  • 2 guns and ammo - a .22 for small game; a .45 for ratbastards
  • Fluorescent lamp
  • Canned Hams for MS (2)
  • Matches
  • iPod
  • Leatherman tool (Not shown because I can't find it)
  • Duck Tape (we're out of it right now)
  • Chicken Necks for crabbing (they're under a bunch of stuff in the freezer)
  • Fish hooks (real small so you can't see them here)
  • Oregenol

Bring it on, MOFOS!  We can maintain our lifestyle for at least a week.

Where's the vodka? Your kit is just what I want to run across when on the run--folks liqoured up w/guns BUT stabilized by prozac. You should be making cartoons. Juice

Where is the long gun? Ya' gotta' have a long gun. BTW, this is what we take for the last game each season at Camden Yards. You know, "handgun and hard likker night".

I can hit a playing card with the .45 (one handed) from 50 yards. Don't need no long gun.

I can't do that Camden Yard thing anymore. Court order. :((

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but at The Corner they posted a link that says the Manhatten was invented/celebrated by the Democratic Party. Seein' as how you're stocking up on sweet Vermouth and Bourbon, I can only assume its to make Manhattens. (No other reason to have sweet Vermouth, that's for sure).

86 the Vermouth. Go with the lemon juice and simple syrup (or "sour mix" if you must) and make whiskey sours instead.

P.S. 1 part Makers Mark + 1 part your fave BBQ sauce + 5-8 parts water makes an excellent basting liquid for grilled meats (especially pork. Mmmmmmmmm..... grilled animals).
