Sunday Sex
Playing strip poker with cheating bastards.
The WaPost sends a billet-doux to hopeful Democrats this morning [Confident Democrats Lay Out Agenda], then uses four fingers on itself in  near masturbatory frenzy.  Not to throw sand into your love lotion Donks, but drive-by media ballyhoo about forthcoming Donk victory is standard fare, and widely anticipated It's called the ''pre-sell.'' We'll have to wait for this outcome, but the source of today's excitement is this. House Democrats believe they can counter the perception that they're all talk and no walk, because they've unveiled a plan. Here then, the Democrat's Promise to America '06.
Give us control of Congress and we will ...
  1. Impeach President Bush
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (Calif.) said a ''Democratic House would not move quickly to impeach President Bush.''  No, instead they'll have a series of investigations of the Bush administration, and (wink-wink) "You never know where that leads to."  I'm pretty sure Americans are anxious for a second impeachment trial in their lifetimes, right?  (I said Americans, not Democrats).
  1. Quickly vote to raise the minimum wage
A novel approach from Democrats.  I suggest a $50/hour minimum wage, so we can all enjoy the coming prosperity in a manner befitting.
  1. Roll back parts of the Republican prescription drug law
Okay by me if you end the whole thing.  What's that?  Oh, roll back the parts where people have to contribute? Sure, what the Hell.
  1. Implement homeland security measures
Boring Nancy, people don't believe there's a threat.
  1. Reinstate lapsed budget deficit controls.
We know what that means.  De-fund the military,  and force an end to post  Iraq  and Afghanistan war efforts to stabilize those countries.
There you have it. The Formula.  The Plan of action. Wait!  Democrats earlier said they'd capture Osama bin Laden.  Where did that go?   This is pep rally crap, of course, and the Post knows it.  Democrat success  will depend on how successful the drive-by media are in selling the notion of a corrupt Republican Congress.
''This year, the House is engulfed in bribery and influence-peddling scandals that have forced the resignation of former House majority leader Tom DeLay (R-Tex.), sent former representative Randy "Duke" Cunningham (R-Calif.) to jail, and yielded guilty pleas from two former DeLay aides and former lobbyist Jack Abramoff.''
WaPo then quickly inoculates Democrats against the invariable comeback with this.
But those scandals are also linked to a Democrat, Rep. William J. Jefferson (La.), leading some Republicans to conclude they have been inoculated.
LOL.  There are a whole lot more WaPPy - chief among them Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, but who's counting?  So, after reading this 1088 word essay, what have we learned - that's new?  Zero.  Nada. But wait ... it don't matter.

Oooh - oooh - ahh- ahh -yes- oh yes- oh yes - OH YESSSS!!!!!!!!!!

But of course. The media will treat this as though the Magna Carta had just been invented in Nancy's kitchen. My money is still on the power of the internet, blogs, and talk radio. Not that I don't think Republicans need a spanking, but not at the risk of my life, thank you.

The perfect bookend piece to this crap was a column by Markos whatever the *uck, the KOS asshat. Man, if the Rs didn't have a gun trained on their foot and the trigger glued back, the democrat party would be history. KOS says that HRC isn't far enough left! His almighty blogdom WILL have the final say on the '08 nominee. I love it.

The politicos at the DNC are smart though. Like Bin Laden went after(and killed) the leader of the northern Alliance right before 9/11, they went after DeLay. There aren't many take no prisoner guys on our side.

i thought 'Lapsed Budget deficit controls' was also a sign they will raise taxation...

they do it everytime they win somewhere, NJ is the latest, and it immediately ruins their approval...

how can a Party survive, when they embrace an agenda that is so unpopular, meaning 'overt taxation'...

seems without the MSM, the DNC would not be competitive.

(even with the RNC shortcomings...)
