Torricelli - Again

Torch Song
Over the years I've noticed what seems to be some disparity over how Democrat crooks - I mean, caught in the act Democrat crooks -  are treated vis a vis your Republican crook.  Torricelli and Cunningham come instantly to mind .  Anyway, the Torch is back in the news again, and not surprisingly it's because he's suspected of  being involved in another scam.

I don't know of him, his history, or this scandal.

But when I saw the coverage and they didn't show his political offilliation, I figured he was a Democrat.

I am certain that if he had been a Republican, they would have identified him as "former Republican representative from (state). (I don't even know where he is from.)

Jon, where are you from? Don't you blog from Iceland, or someplace? I want to make a point about your comment.

I live in Detroit, MI.

Most of the computer rooms I blog from have no windows and are maintained at 68 degrees. They are also referred to as "disaster shelters".

What could you _possibly_ want to say about my comment?

I always liked how Rush would say that Clinton sat down with the Torch before the last time he was going to run and with the mounting evidence in his latest round of trouble, got his "mind right" and the Torch stepped down.

I really, really liked it when they persuaded Lautenberg to come back and fill the Torch's slot with the promise the ds were going to retake the senate. Ha ha, old Laut got a 6 year sentence to the minority(unless...well let us not go there)
