Inlaws

Company Coming
My wife's family is coming this week for a little visit, and gentlemen readers know what that means for me.  We - Mother Supeior and me - have some disagreement over the state of the house, but after extended negotiations  ... uh-  expect lighter blogging than usual.  Ahem.

Patience my brother! This happens to me as well every July when the mother-in-law makes her yearly inspection tour, errrrr. . . visit.

Why do we go to such great lengths to spiff up the place, when as soon as company arrives, the place gets trashed?! And when they leave, you're exhausted and it takes a week to recoup the place and yourselves. Best of Luck to you.

Haha- you could do like my best friend's husband used to do. Everytime his family would come for a visit and she needed his help straightening up-- he would clean the garage! It was a one car garage so it's not like the company would even see it-- but it was important to him to have the garage clean!
