Bone-in Pork Loin

Today's Food Secret
People are always asking, ''Say Rodge, what do you serve the important people who come to visit you?'' Here's the answer. If they are very important, like my family, or friends, or President Bush, they get grilled bone-in pork loin. This is, simply put, the best tasting meat on the planet. Hucker said, ''this is like eating bacon off the bone.'' I apply my secret rub, then put them on the top grill rack to absorb the apple wood smoke, and get 80% finished. At that point I inject them with apple juice, apply a coating of Cattleman's sauce, let them sit for 3-4 minutes with the lid closed, then finish them quickly directly on the grill. Inside meat temperature is around 160°-165°. Serve with slaw and baked beans. Wow.

Mmmmmm.....I'll be over on Sunday, Rodge. It would be nice if you whipped up some of that salad you posted about a few days ago, too.

Hey Rodge, You sure you didn't hop over my fence on the 4th and take these pics in my yard? I had to switch to Cattleman's since Safeway no longer stocks Woody's BBQ sauce (from NO, maybe they got flooded?)and I can't find it anywhere. Mmmmmmmm, oh yeah!

PS. Possible answer. Could that be Woody in the pic above?

Giant food packaged slaw mixed with "Naturally Fresh Slaw Dressing" - a refrigerated dressing also purchased at Giant, but available all around here.

I love brisket too, but do try that bone-in pork loin. OMG!

Never heard of Woody's in my whole life. Cattleman's is Boss,
