Meat baster/injector

Today's Stuff that works

I got one of these things in my stocking last Christmas, and here's why I recommend it.  I've had the smaller meat injectors before, but they are flimsy, the needle is too small, and they break lickety-split.  This deal serves as both meat baster, and with the needle screwed on, a meat injector.  (Fill the tube before putting the needle on for best results).

Last night I broiled some chicken breasts (coated in lime yogurt, then rolled in a breadcrumb/pecan crumb mixture).  I overcooked them.  Way.

There is nothing worse than overcooked chicken, and normally the dog would have gotten them over the next few days.  But, here's what I did while they were still hot.  I filled the baster with (canned) chicken broth, and injected the hell out of them.  The verdict from mother superior?  Delicious!  Because I'm so honest, I have to tell you that while I am getting rich selling stuff via Amazon, the actual baster I have is this one.  Amazon's looks the same, with a different bulb color, but you take your chances.  You're welcome.

Does a two ball meat injection feature her, or am I of base?

The WF is very kind tonight, my second clear 6.

I got one last christmas also and it ROCKS for handling injecting brines and marinades. The little cleaning brush is a nice touch also.
