The Ninth Circuit ... again.

Liberalus Judgaroni

A Hallmark of any liberal is a self recognition that he, or she, has been endowed with superior understanding, munificence, judgment, intellect, morality, and knowing how to make the best vegan omelet.  It stands to reason, then, that making one of them a judge is an exercise in political flagellation for the rest of us.  Nobody epitomizes Liberalus Judgaroni more than does Judge Stephen Reinhardt of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.  Here's his latest blessing, bestowed upon an ought-to-be-more-grateful nation.

But that is not how the Ninth Circuit treated Harper's appeal. Instead, in a 2-1 decision, Judge Reinhardt used the case to articulate a new concept of free speech regulation. Focusing on the specific anti-gay content of Harper's T-shirt, he ruled that schools may restrict "derogatory and injurious remarks directed at students' minority status such as race, religion, and sexual orientation."  TCS

What's that?  You need background?  Lucky for you that famous gunman, author, secret underground special force terrorist sanctionator, and Schweppes man Kim du Toit has it all in our Rant-of-the-Day.

"secret underground special force terrorist sanctionator"?

There's no proof I've ever done that.

And I have an alibi, anyway.

Oh, and I prefer Canada Dry Ginger Ale in my brandy.

I know, it's a shame how Schweppes has lost its fizz.
