Carter and Der Spiegel

How Bad is Jimmy Carter?

How Bad is Jimmy Carter? Don't Answer That

''Honestly, we've reached a point beyond parody when the far left wing German magazine Der Spiegel has to be the one injecting a sense of moral clarity into a discussion with Jimmy Carter:"

Spiegel: You also mentioned the hatred for the United States throughout the Arab world which has ensued as a result of the invasion of Iraq. Given this circumstance, does it come as any surprise that Washington's call for democracy in the Middle East has been discredited?

Carter: No, as a matter of fact, the concerns I exposed have gotten even worse now with the United States supporting and encouraging Israel in its unjustified attack on Lebanon.

Spiegel: But wasn't Israel the first to get attacked?

Tom Bevin (Real Clear Politics) ends with this
By all means, read the rest of the interview. A bit later on, after suggesting Fidel Castro's return to health is "not beyond hope," Carter tells the magazine, "I think I represent the vast majority of Democrats in this country." Republicans will eagerly confirm that Carter has it exactly right.

As the Rockies went 18 last night, I would, in between innings, do some surfing. Way past my beddytime and definately in the punchy zone, I happened across this piece. I guess I was in the perfect state to read it as it didn't outrage me. What else can this asshole say? This man is dispicable.

I can think he knows, in the depth of his soul, that he was one rotten ass president. And he runs around spewing this anti-American crap, hoping to change his legacy. Hell, he did it to Clinton, although not nearly as bad.

Remember his shameless champaigning for the Nobel? And when they gave it to him, the committee came out and very loudly and very publicly said they were awarding Carter the prize to disrespect President Bush.

If that had been me, I would have, very publicly, wiped my ass with it, and returned it. Carter OTOH, didn't.

It is hard to find adjectives bad enough to describe Carter. Carter represents despite being elected to the Presidency the pennicle of failure. He is also known to be a nasty sonofabitch to have to deal with. The Secret Service hated this asshole even more than they did Johnson. It is a strange thing that democrap presidents are seen as nasty hard to deal with and just plain assholes by those that risk there lives to protect them. I think there must be something that can be learned from this. The one exception being John Kennedy. The rest rate number 1 on the SS cocksucker scale.
