Rodger, if the mood and topic should strike you, I sure would like to see another one of your hilarious comic strips~ This one is funny, don't get me wrong, just reminded me is all. Juice

When my family changed towns while I was in middle school I missed about 2 weeks of school. During that two weeks, the math classes started covering fractions.

My first week at the new school the teacher gave a quiz on inverting fractions. Since I didn't know what inverting a fraction was, when she asked us to invert the fraction 5/6 I turned the numbers over and answered 2/9 since an upside down 5 kind of looks like a 2 and an upside down 6 is obviously a 9. I used the same theory for the other 9 problems on the page.

The teacher decided I was an idiot and ignored me the rest of the school year. When the year ended with my getting an F in math she told me to avoid anything to do with math for the rest of my life. But that was a high school A average, a BS in mechanical engineering and an MS in Computer Science ago.

You gotta love some of those public school teachers.
