Libertarians bail out

Blue Screens
Any troubles the GOP may be in during the mid-term elections have little to do with the war on terror.  In fact, that's about the only thing they have going for them.  Today's democrats can only be elected in a vacuum, and this is apparently what's sucking the air.  Kenny, Kyle and Cartman may be backing Hillary, because she'd be fun fodder, but I lean towards a more responsible outlook.

The American disk drive is cluttered with broken links, missing files, bad sectors, and a corrupted operating system.  We need to reinstall the OS that we started with, so let's get on with it.  Maybe the shock of seeing a blue screen error message, in the guise of, say,  Speaker Pelosi, will finally get us off our duff.  Our country cannot survive another Democratic administration. I'm not making that up.

We can't survive another Republican administration either, if they don't find some spine and start acting like Republicans. Come election time, I'm voting for R Schlong.

What has turned the republican base off more tha any other issue is the border, the illegal immigration issue and the failure of the Bush administration to as they say get it. i voted for the man twice but he has been terrible when it comes to the border and illegal aliens. It is as if he is completely blind folded and his ears plugged and it could very well cost them the house and maybe the senate. Then if they dont wake up before 2008 there will probably be a democrat prez.Because the base will just stay home out of frustration.

The border is defintely a wesk spot, and hell, I don't get Bush at all on this. I don't think Libertarians are out of sorts over it; their gripe is the insane spending.

I have to ask, though, do they think Democrats will be better? Nah, they're not stuopid, so they must be wanting the revolution to begin in earnest.

I never witnessed, experienced, anyone winning by losing.

The so-called 'wake up call' of the Clinton Election in 1992, gave the Clinton Negligence another 4 years to weaken our defenses, give China, N. Korea, Iran our high tech, build the Gorelick Wall...

I must disagree strongly with this suggestion of accepting a 'Speaker Pelosi'. The rebuke of these fools this Fall, only weakens the DNC, and sends a message, that their pathetic existence is unattractive. If you give them a victory now, they will only get worse, (if this is possible). Speaker Pelosi will be able to use the US Government in their War on Republicans, cut funding for the GWOT and Our fine Military.

Who the hell expected the Bush Administration to be perfect either? I voted for these Gov. from Texas to check the corrupt LIberal Machine.

In the Bilbray-Busby race, the immigration issue proved impotent. The Minute Men's Candidate received 5% of the vote. Seems the Republican base understands the current insanity of the Liberal Democrat Party.

This President has been undervalued by many Conservatives...

1. stopped KYOTO
2. rejected INTERNATIONAL COURTS
3. strengthened our Military (including substantial pay increases...)
4. the PATRIOT ACT
5. Bolton to the UN
6. Conservative Judges: ie: Alito, Brown, Roberts, etc.
7. Cut taxation
8. Tort Reform
9. Bankruptcy Reform
10. *** kicking tail in the GWOT: not appeasing Iraq, Iran, Syria, N. Korea...
11. Zarqawi is dead
12. competition in Medicare
13. testing in public School systems
14. helped liberate Liberia, Haiti...
15. funding for border security has increased by 66%, ended capture and release (now instant deportation), not perfect - but clearly in the right direction, after 8 years of negligence...

* besides, in my humble opinion, making this Country safe, is not Buchanan isolation, but offense everywhere.

took us 40 years to get a majority in the HOUSE, and to give it up seems a big mistake in my view. empowering the Hezbocrats only would encourage Rhinos, making wimpy Repubs to become more liberal, seeking what wins...

I am for winning, kicking Liberal Folly to the Curb, and am not willing to 'teach the Nation a lesson' by giving the wheel to the nuts. Pushing the Repubs further Conservative is the only way I consider healthy right now.

I love this Country, will fight to the end...

My opinion always was, and always will be this. Bush may not be perfect, but can you possibly imagine how things would have been with Kerry in there?

I shudder.

agreed curmudgeon...

they can take that Katrina garbage, Wilson-Plame, Cindy, and shove them where it really hurts.

i want to see Tim Russert crying on TV, shouting hysterically 'we can't win...'

let's get Ms. Compton and Ms. Preston of ABC Radio screaming during their pathetic ABC updates, wildly suggesting "the election losses of Democrat Liberals again, must be a mistake..."

wouldn't it be nice, to see Katie have tears in her eyes on C-BS, trying to tell the liberal viewers, although Democrats did not win control of Congress in either body, they still have a 'moral victory'.

Well said HNaV. I can only add that there is nothing more disgusting than the blind ignorance of the all-or-nothing political fucktard.
